Friends of Baylor Sponsored Billboard

Friends of Baylor, now three years old, is comprised of thousands of committed volunteers including student leaders, political figures, clergy, members of the judiciary, corporate CEOs, major law firm partners, physicians, teachers, homemakers, parents and a variety of other Baylor fans. We represent a very large and demographically comprehensive constituency of Baylor supporters with a giving history of tens of millions of donations to the University.

 

Launched in August of 2003 by a $1million donation to the University by Waco businessman, Clifton Robinson, Friends of Baylor is a proactive public supporter of Baylor through newspaper, radio, billboard and magazine advertisements. FOB has also sponsored student scholarships, helped with student recruitment and financially supported the University and its related needs. Friends of Baylor is financially self-sustaining through private donations and requires no funding from the University itself.

Our message is simple – we believe in Vision 2012, support the University’s governance by its Board of Regents and its Administration, and are committed to helping Baylor achieve its mission of becoming an outstanding academic institution while maintaining its distinctive Christian identity.
