BUSH LIBRARY NATIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED

Baylor announced a blue chip National Steering Committee chaired by Drayton McLane Jr. for purposes of seeking the Presidential Library of President George W. Bush.  This is an exciting opportunity for the University and will contemplate a very serious effort by the Waco community and Baylor family.  President Bush's faith and ranch proximity to Waco provide a unique connection to Baylor.  Click here to review the Steering Committee which involves numerous Friends of Baylor.

WELCOME WAYNE FISHER TO FRIENDS OF BAYLOR STEERING COMMITTEE

We are extremely pleased to announce the inclusion of one of Baylor's greatest attorneys to the Friends of Baylor Steering Committee.  Wayne Fisher is a Cum Laude graduate of the University and its Law School, was named by Baylor as Baylor Lawyer of the Year (1983) and as one of its Outstanding Alum's ('91). Wayne was also President of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.  These credentials illustrate why Baylor chose Wayne as their lead attorney in the defense of the Dennehy case.  Baylor is in great hands with Wayne and Friends of Baylor welcome his leadership.
