FACULTY VOTE ANNOUNCED
The Faculty Senate conducted their referendum on Dr. Sloan’s Presidency and approximately ½ of the Faculty participated in the referendum. Click here to read a press release from Chairman Will Davis and a faculty group on the subject. Apparently, this type situation is occurring on other campuses as well. Click here to read an identical story regarding the University of Missouri.

The Faculty at Baylor are an essential component of the University and the sentiments of those who chose to participate as well as those who did not support the referendum process should be respected. The Board of Regents are likewise essential to Baylor and their sentiments, particularly on the leadership and governance of the University should be absolutely respected. We trust in the wisdom of the Board and would encourage the entire Baylor family to do so as well.
