GREAT WEEKEND FOR BAYLOR ROUNDBALLERS! The #3 nationally ranked Lady Bears defeated number #7 Texas Longhorns 63 to 60. Coach Kim’s Lady Bears continued to heap glory on ol’ BU by beating the storied women’s basketball team of Texas before 10,322 fans at the Ferrell Center, the largest crowd to ever see a Lady Bear game. Baylor received great exposure with the game being televised on FOX Sports. The men, although not victorious, were competitive in a 79 to 60 loss with Texas as well. We are exceedingly proud of Coach Kim and Coach Drew, their efforts and the play of their teams.
