Scott Drew's squad lands coveted spot in NCAA Tournament

The prayers of the faithful were rewarded this evening as the Baylor men's basketball team was selected to participate in the NCAA National Championship Tournament. They will open play this Thursday in the West Regional bracket in Washington D.C. against Purdue University. A win against Purdue would give the Bears another game Saturday in D.C. against the winner of Xavier and University of Georgia.

What a great accomplishment for Coach Drew, his staff, the courageous players, the Athletic Department, the fans, and the donors who stepped up to support this program. Our first NCAA Tournament in 20 years will begin on Easter weekend. We celebrate a risen Lord this weekend AND give thanks for a risen basketball program.
